Power Flow Eavestroughing

Marcy Holinaty

Bonnyville, AB

When Marcy decided to go solo running the siding and eavestrough company when her business partners moved on to other ventures, her new start-up needed a financial boost.

With guidance and careful planning from Community Futures Lakeland's Business Analyst, Marcy successfully transitioned the business, and over the next 2 years started growing it from a seasonal part-time company into a year-round business with full-time staff.

Marcy and her husband Kirk have now set their sight on future growth and are looking to expand the business across the region and into new communities.

Despite the challenges of taking over the business, Marcy believes honesty and humility are important parts of entrepreneurship and credits the business planning, resources, and support she received as key to overcoming even the toughest challenges.

“Failure is the road to success, stand behind your product and support your customers.” - Marcy Holinaty
